Here are some Sample Projects.

Wachovia Securities

We designed and developed web-based product training on a wide-range of retirement products including fixed and variable annuities, 401(k), and IRAs.

Evergreen Financial

We conducted an assessment of company-wide training needs for over 25 job families, developed recommendations, and presented a Strategic Planning Document to senior management. High-level recommendations included re-structuring of the "training function" and re-allocating training resources.

Northwestern Mutual Life

We designed and conducted an assessment to: (1) assess competencies of the company’s Forum (top 20 percent) agents; (2) assess competencies of 2nd tier agents; (3) identify gaps in the competencies of the 2nd tier agents as compared to those of Forum agents; and (4) recommend training and other strategies for making 2nd tier agents more productive.

The assessment required us to create survey tools, conduct in-depth telephone and in-person interviews with over 50 agents and home office personnel. The data analysis required us to create categories of key competencies and prioritize the various competencies.

Based on our assessment and recommendations, we worked with company management to revise the curriculum of various advanced training programs.

Wachovia

We designed and conducted an assessment of several Retail Bank job families (Financial Specialists, Financial Advisors, Small Business Bankers, Tellers, etc.) to identify learning needs concerning (1) retirement planning concepts; (2) retirement planning products; and (3) sales skills associated with selling (referring, where appropriate) retirement planning services and products. Our assessment involved the use of interviews, surveys and focus groups.

Based on our assessment and the recommendations contained therein, Senior Management asked us to prepare a curriculum for each job family and to design and develop the training associated with that curriculum. The training took the form of extensive self-study workbooks (Retirement Concepts), innovative web-based training (Retirement Products) and class-room training (Retirement Sales).

This past spring and summer we were engaged by Wachovia to develop and deliver additional classroom training for the Retirement Initiative and to develop job-specific web-based training for Wachovia Securities personnel.

We continue to be engaged for the purpose of evaluating the cost-effectiveness of the training.

America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP)

We have written several text books, designed workbooks and study guides, and created tests for several of AHIP’s health insurance courses. These courses are often offered in conjunction with the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and provide essential knowledge to both home office and field personnel.

  • All three textbooks used to prepare for the Disability Income Associate designation (Introduction to Disability Income Insurance, Advanced Topics, and Group and Worksite Products)

  • Two of the textbooks that will be used in preparation for a new Employee Benefits Specialists designation ( POPs, FSAs, HRAs and HSAs  and Retiree Healthcare options.)

We are currently engaged to produce one ther textbook in 2006.

The American College

We worked with personnel from the College and one its major clients, State Farm Insurance Company, to create satellite broadcast classes for two of the five courses used to obtain he Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation *Retirement Planning and Estate Planning).
